So far, Anna June has only been absent from school one day, because she had pinkeye or something like it, and she was tardy once this week for a dentist appointment. Besides that, her attendance has been stellar.
However, the ONE DAY she was absent, a group from the local Rotary Club showed up at her school to take a tour of the Pre-K. They are major contributors to the United Way's Success By 6 program, and they are basically funding AJ's classroom. The one day presented a great photo-op, and of course, made it to the school's website.
So if you were ever wondering what a group of local philanthropists (including Mrs. D's Dad), a school board member, a program administrator, AJ's teachers, and the rest of her class look like, you can find it here. It's a link to her class website. I hope that better and more pictures will be posted soon.
