Daddy-Daughter Time

A few Saturdays ago, Ben kept Anna June while I went to a meeting. They had fun, and visited the "Park in the Park" event at Avondale Park, which showcased vintage cars. AJ had a great time, but it turned cold and they needed to go anyway.

They took lots of firetruck pictures for Grandpa!

(Update to post: instead of the link to the album, here are the pictures.)

Hey. Laura! Fire page link is failing! (could be our computer...)

Your heart was in the right place ! ( re: previous post and the pan-handler) What is the old phrase? "Beggars can't be choosers."

Thanks for letting me know. It's probably not your computer - it's probably just the permissions from the album. Regardless, I took the rest of the pics and posted them. Please let me know if you can't see them.

And yes, beggars can't be choosers. I kept asking myself, "What would Jesus do?" I think if he had been hungry, he'd have eaten the bagel.

Thanks for the picture...unfortunately I could not access the link, but it did bring back memories of when we took Ben to the firehouse and my friend Kenny let him get up close and personal with the rigs! Grandpa

I updated the post with the pictures themselves. I think Ben forgot to make the album "public". See if you can see 7 pictures now.

Wow! I just saw the pics...Anna June's expression reminded me of her daddy's! Thanks for sharing these pics. Again, you made my day! Grandpa

Glad you liked them. I was actually trying to schedule this post for Sunday but posted prematurely. I guess I'll have to come up with something for the weekend now.
